Candace Boulais is a dedicated educational leader with two decades of experience championing inclusive excellence. Her career began in the classroom as a Special Education teacher, where she developed a reputation for utilizing innovative, student-centered methods to break down learning barriers and unlock the potential of students with diverse needs.
Transitioning into school leadership, Candace served as a High School Administrator, spearheading policies that moved inclusion from a concept to a daily reality. Her work focused on creating supportive, welcoming environments where students of all abilities could thrive alongside their peers.
Currently, Candace serves as the Director of Special Education for the Romoland School District. In this executive role, she leads district-wide special education programming and provides strategic support to site administrators. She is a tireless advocate for bridging the gap between educators, parents, and students, ensuring that individualized education plans are rooted in equity and authentic inclusion.
