About me
Christina Reyes is an experienced educator and leader with over 20 years of dedication to supporting students with exceptional needs. She began her career with Irvine Unified School District in 2011 as a school psychologist, and over the years, has held various pivotal roles, including School Psychologist, Program Specialist for Secondary Programming, and currently, Special Education Coordinator for Educationally Related Mental Health Services (ERMHS).
In her current role, Christina oversees the district's mental health and behavior programs, supervises licensed mental health clinicians, and manages IEPs for students requiring Residential Treatment Centers (RTC). She also coordinates community agency supports integrated into student IEPs and plays an integral role as a member of the Special Education Leadership Team.
Christina holds a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development and Family Studies, along with a Master's Degree in Counseling/School Psychology, specializing in behavior analysis. She has also earned a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis in Educational Settings. Additionally, she holds credentials in Pupil & Personnel Services, Child Welfare & Attendance, and Administrative Services.
With two decades of experience across diverse settings—school, clinic, and hospital—Christina is committed to supporting the special populations served within IUSD!
