Highly respected and dedicated educaon law expert Cynthia “Cyndi” Vargas represents and counsels school districts, county offices of educaon and special educaon local plan areas (SELPAs) throughout southern California and beyond, with a focus on the San Bernardino County and San Diego regions. A seasoned trainer, advisor, negoator and ligator, Cyndi successfully advocates for clients in due process and Secon 504 hearings, Individualized Educaonal Program (IEP) team meengs, mediaons and informal resoluons. She also represents clients in compliance complaints with the California Department of Educaon, invesgaons with the Office for Civil Rights and a variety of other maters that public school agencies rounely address.
