About me
Stefanie is a Licensed Educational Psychologist and a dedicated School Psychologist with over 15 years of experience within the Irvine Unified School District. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from UCLA, and advanced degrees from Chapman University, including a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and an Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology. Throughout her tenure with IUSD, Stefanie has supported a variety of special populations from Preschool through age 22; however, her specialty has been working as the District’s psychologist for the Behavior, Social Learning, & Communication (BSLC) program for nearly a decade. This program supports students with extensive social-emotional/behavioral needs that require small-group instruction with embedded behavioral and mental health support. In her current role, she is a key member of the District assessment team, acting as a liaison for IUSD students attending Non-Public Schools (NPS) and conducting assessments for students who have been unilaterally placed by their parents. She possesses deep expertise in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students facing the most complex emotional and behavioral hurdles. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys puzzles, road trips, listening to music, and dancing with her husband and 3-year-old daughter, Luna.
