About me
Susan Kadel is an accomplished healthcare leader with over 30 years of nursing experience across specialties including emergency medicine, geriatrics, and medical/surgical care. For the past decade, Susan has been a cornerstone of the health team at Desert Sands Unified School District, where she has served as Lead Nurse for five years.
A dedicated advocate for systemic health, Susan has been an active member of the DSUSD Wellness Committee for three years. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Shepherd University, along with school nurse credentials from Fairmont State University and Cal State Fullerton. Susan is currently elevating her expertise in preventative health by pursuing a Master of Education in Health and Wellness Education from the American College of Education.
